Emma is a graduate of the University of Guelph and McMaster University. Emma is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Her treatment techniques include the use of manual therapy, soft tissue release, acupuncture and exercise prescription.

Emma has focussed her continuing education in the field of women's health, completing several courses to provide support to women of all ages including those in pregnancy, postpartum, perimenopause and beyond. She is one of the few physio doulas in the industry offering education and continuing care to women throughout the entire perinatal period, including during labour and delivery. Emma is also a trained pessary fitting practitioner, providing ongoing care and maintenance to women with pelvic organ prolapse and stress urinary incontinence. In May 2020, Emma was awarded the New Graduate Award in Pelvic/Women's by the Women’s Health Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Emma’s other clinical interest is sports injury rehab. Emma grew up participating in competitive dance and cheerleading and loves working with individuals with the same passion for artistic sport. These days, Emma keeps active in the weight room trying to hit new personal bests. Emma is a huge Toronto Raptors fan and in her spare time you can catch her cheering them on.
