FR Systems

Functional Range Systems (FRS®) is a unique and impactful methodology designed to optimize human mobility and performance. It amplifies the useable range of motion, improves articular mobility and neurological control, and bolsters strength and resilience.

FRS® leverages specific principles, strategies, and techniques to enhance athletic performance, decrease the risk of injuries, and expedite recovery. This revolutionary approach is adaptable to individual needs, making it ideal for athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and those recovering from injuries.

Recovery Systems

Cryotherapy is a clinically proven device to comfortably and accuratly apply a combination of intermittent cold and pneumatic pressure. The specially designed wraps can target treatment to specific areas of the body, aiding in recovery and treatment of injuries.

Air Relax Recovery uses precise, dynamically controlled air pressure, to provide compression to the limbs. Treatment is used to improve conditions resulting from  poor circulation and speeding recovery from certain types of injuries.

MAT System

Muscle Activation Techniques® is a specific and unique process for evaluating an individual’s ability to produce efficient muscle contraction. Loss of muscle contraction results in a decreased range of motion, and therefore decreased physical performance.

Range of motion testing can indicate which muscles have decreased contractibility, and precise forces are applied to restore that muscle’s efficiency. The MAT® Certified Specialist is trained and certified to perform several force application techniques that can restore function and strengthen weak muscles.

Kinesiotaping

Kinesiotaping is a valuable tool in physical therapy and athletic rehabilitation. It boosts muscle and joint proprioception by providing sensory feedback, thereby enhancing balance and coordination. Furthermore, it helps reduce muscle fatigue and spasms, prevents over-contraction and over-stretching of muscles, and aids in decreasing swelling by promoting improved circulation.

Additionally, Kinesiotaping enhances muscle contraction and activation, leading to optimized muscle function and improved physical performance. It's a practical aid for athletes and individuals recovering from injuries.

Graston Techniques

Graston and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization is a form of soft tissue technique that is often used in conjunction with Active Release Techniques®. It uses specifically designed stainless steel instruments to help the practitioner identify and break down scar tissue within the musculoskeletal system.

The goal of Graston Technique is to separate and break down scar tissue, as well as stretch connective tissue and muscle fibers. Using a cross-friction massage, rubbing against the grain of the scar tissue, the practitioner re-introduces very small amounts of trauma to the affected area. This temporarily causes inflammation in the local area, which thereby increases the rate and amount of blood flow in and around the area.

Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy is a painless and non-invasive therapy that reduces pain and aids in the healing process of damaged tissues. A laser diode is applied to the injured area and the injured tissues absorb the high-intensity light energy particles. These particles of energy are absorbed by the cell membranes, resulting in the initiation of a physiological cascade that leads to the restoration of normal cell structure and function. Laser therapy can be used to effectively treat a wide variety of muscle and joint pain and it provides an important treatment alternative for patients who have not yet responded to other conventional therapies.
