Physiotherapy program at McMaster University and is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario as a Physiotherapist. He also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo.
Before becoming a physiotherapist, Youssef worked as a Strength and Conditioning Coach, both privately with a range of clients and with the Kitchener Rangers in the OHL.
Working with athletes at that level taught him how to build progressive, individualized programs, manage training load, and help people return to performance. He brings that experience into his physiotherapy practice.
Youssef has a keen interest in exercise prescription, strength training, and pain science to help patients along their rehabilitation journey. He incorporates research findings, clinical reasoning, and patient preferences to inform his practice, and he takes the time to explain the “why” behind each plan.
Youssef is also trilingual, speaking English, French, and Arabic, allowing him to provide care to patients from diverse backgrounds.
Youssef is passionate about patient education and shares clinical content online and providing high quality care to every patient he sees. He currently keeps active by running and training in the gym, as well as playing a variety of sports ranging from soccer to hockey to table tennis.
